"The cow is of the bovine ilk; One end is moo, the other, milk"-- Ogden Nash.
Happily, this week two people sent me two fantastic cow links. Dale sent me this one on Cowscapes and Cindy this one on a study that suggests there are regional variants for cows' moos: "Lloyd Green, a farmer from Glastonbury, said: 'I spend a lot of time with my ones and they definitely moo with a Somerset drawl.'" Gosh. If this is true, I wonder if American cows mock Canadian cows' pronunciation of certain vowels. Lord love a cow.
