They say you spend your 20s denying you're like your parents and then the rest of your life coming to terms with the fact that you are your parents. Could that make me funny and adorable? Something to aspire to, indeed. My mum is always with me and not only do I sound like her, I realized during our last trip to Ireland that we often think the same things.
