The new genre: perhaps why I have not blogged

Sonnet: a rhyming poem of fourteen lines with ten syllables per line, generally written in iambic pentameter.
Haiku: a poem composed of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables.
Facebook status update: a statement of no more than 160 characters beginning with your name followed by is.

This could be my literary niche. Here are some from the past month.

Heidi is noticing how normal conversations have been affected by facebook-speak: "Dale is waiting for Heidi and suggesting Heidi will be late." "Heidi is hurrying!"
